Top 10 batsmen with most half centuries in IPL: The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a store of batting powerhouses from all over the world. The popularity and the richness of the tournament attracts every international and domestic cricketer to be a part of it. We have seen some unrealistic, unscalable performances from players, on consistent basis. Among the most consistent batsmen are those who have clubbed the most number of half-centuries in the IPL.
So here we bring to you the top 10 batsmen with most half-centuries in IPL. (In case where batsmen have equal number of half-centuries fewer number of matches required to score them have been ranked higher.)

They have done well as a unit and under his leadership; though RCB has been too close yet too far with the IPL championship trophy. He doesn’t think much about the game but has a very effective approach. Viru initially was the skipper, key player for the Delhi Daredevils and now represents the KXIP; he has struck 16 fifties in his IPL journey.

Kallis initially played for the Bangalore franchise and is now associated with KKR in the IPL. He has scored 17 fifties in his IPL career.

His journey is a story, we can all accept and always knew Rohit has the talent but has rarely been able to justify it with consistent performance. Though Rohit Sharma has been in good nick off late, we will have to wait for the season to start and him to play, only then will it be possible to assess the Mumbai lad. He is also the overall leading run scorer of the Indian domestic league. Raina has right from the beginning been a part of the CSK team and continues to be a vital cog in their success. The splendid left hander has hit 23 which is also the most number of half centuries by a player in IPL.

Gautam Gambhir the former Delhi Daredevils and ruling Kolkata Knight Riders champions skipper is a classic left hand batsman. He likes to use the pace of the quicker bowlers early on and uses his feet extremely well against the spinners. Gambhir knows all the shots in the book and has the ability to shift gears at will. The KKR captain has scored 24 half-centuries in his IPL career thus far.
